I’m an MCP maximalist, so this should come as no surprise—Replit’s now the fastest place to build and deploy MCP servers.

I’m excited about MCP on Replit, it’s is an exciting technology that’s been gated to casual users by a lack of devex / infra.

02. learning

I normally reserve this section for tools, but I was out in Lisbon this week for Web Summit—my biggest learning was just how hungry European startups are (super amazing to see!), but also at the disparity between the US and Europe for startup funding.

It’s interesting to think about the market dynamics, incentives, and state of startups across the Bay and Europe. Moving to San Francisco was a turning point for my career… and an incredible privilege as an American.

I offer no solutions, only observations.

Ok fine, I’ll list one tool: I’m adding GSAP to my blog… It’s a super cool animation framework, sponsored by Webflow. Here’s an early look!

03. thinking

Eugène Delacroix said: “Artists who seek perfection in everything are those who cannot attain it in anything.”

Now, this is pretty crazy coming from someone who painted this:

But it goes to show that being a high performer, even being the best does not mean being a perfectionist… and that’s remained true throughout history.

Becoming an amazing painter, just like becoming an amazing content creator, engineer, or leader, starts with doing the thing you’re so passionate about, then getting 1% better each day with your craft.
