  • Six tips for GPT-5: GPT-5 behaves differently from previous models. This explainer is a great (and concise) breakdown from the OpenAI team

  • Durable Agents: Pydantic partnered with Temporal to build agents that preserve their state across runs. That means even if your app crashes, your agent can restart and pick up where it left off!

  • Mastra: Super interesting TypeScript framework for building Agents.

  • svgl: Find svg icons super fast. This was a big win for a marketer who likes to automate (they have an API!)

03. thinking

Many of us approach problems with “1st order thinking,” i.e. “There’s a problem X, my product provides a solution, Y”

But 2nd order thinking anticipates the solution and goes one level deeper: “I have a problem X, assuming a solution Y, how can I build on it?”

In the age of AI, there are many new, readily available solutions. Most of them are just model wrappers.

This might remind you of Steve Jobs.

There are many obvious products. There are no obvious revolutionary products.

The durable products will be those that are opinionated and built from second order thinking.
